Accounts in Dynamics CRM are businesses or organizations that your organization dealing with during business.

Who all can be an Account?

Vendors | Partners | Investor | Influencer | Reseller | Competitor | Customer

Required Fields of an Account Records

Only two fields are mandatory when working with an account:
1. Account Name,
2. Owner ( will have a default value as Created By).

Other Important Fields of an Account

There are many others fields which are good to have when you create an Account record which will help you keep track of details about your Accounts. Some of them are:

  • Account number
  • Parent Account
  • Primary contact
  • Currency
  • Phone and Fax
  • Website
  • Billing Information
  • Credit limit
  • Contact Methods
  • Annual Revenue
  • # of Employees.
